Duplication problem

This isn’t the first time it’s happened to me, but On certain files sometimes, I’ll be unable to make a copy of the file/project. I made 1 copy, but I need a second one for 3 variations Total, although It’s not letting me create a 3rd copy. Is there a solution?

What are you trying to duplicate? Scenes, or objects inside the scene?
I've just duplicated one of my objects more than three times and it seemed to work ok.
I've also tried duplicating one of my scenes (file) multiple times and it seemed to work fine too.

One thing that happened to me is that, inside the scene, when trying to duplicate the bust, it reached a moment when the app could not do it because the iPad didn't have enough memory left, could it be this case?

The scene won’t duplicate more than once. I can make a copy of a copy, but since I’ve already modified the copy, i need the original scene to duplicate, although it won’t let me

I'm not sure if I understand.
If you have used "Save incremental" you could have the original, I think. But if you modified the original and saved it, I'm afraid you can't go back.
The only solution I can think of is duplicating the original before starting to sculpt.
